During the week we had lots of fun with our Room 4

Florence had us asking so many questions!

Super work Room 4!

We practice using a big voice, presenting so that we are facing our audience, we pronounce our words clearly, make eye contact and don't lean on anything. We try to make our feet point our audience too.

This is what a good speaker and top notch presenter does.

Room 4 does this very well when they are presenting in front of the class too!

We also worked a lot with X.

X Marks the Spot and we made treasure maps!

We also wrote about our treasure - our writing is hanging in our room with our maps.

We had a treasure hunt with Rach and then...

Shantaliya did one for us too!

We had to follow her map which took us around the school.

We found the treasure in the Little Adventure Playground!

We have started our learning on

'Our Neck of the Woods'

This week looked at the NZ flag and kiwis.

Next week we are going to be doing lots of art and craft around the letter Z.

We will learn more about what makes us, 'Kiwis' and why we are unique/special.

On Wednesday morning we are having a special guest who is visiting our whole school to talk about relaxation and breathing techniques. 

Room 4 is having their session on Wednesday morning.

It would be great if everyone could be at school by 8:50am as we start on the bell at 9:00am
