Shantaliya!
Shantaliya did a magic job of helping, giving out Choco, our Room 4 pet and she was a stunning role model for the rest of Room 4.
Shantaliya wants to be a dancer and a singer when she is older.

NEWS - we are having 'Letter of the Week' sharing for News.
Letter of the Week items are shared first and if we have time we will fit 'other' news items in.

INQUIRY - we have started our learning about 'Our Neck of the Woods'. Last week Room 4 came up with lots of ideas about what makes us, 'Kiwis/New Zealanders' and why we are special. 
We came up with all sorts of neat thinking - have a look in our classroom at our brainstorm.

KNOWLEDGE-A-THON - this was lots of fun! 
The children were really amazing and we completed all the questions for Year 1 children as well as a few more.

Everyone had a V to make...

COME ALIVE!

They look great - have a look in Room 4.

This is what we do in Room 4 when we are 'Browsing' - this means we are all

having a look at books and browsing with our eyes, sharing with a friend or just browsing by ourselves but we are reading.

We read our reading books that we have taken home, library books, picture books, poems, big books and anything we can find with words on/in it.

On Friday we had a visit from Rosie.

She was really impressed with Room 4 and was very excited to meet everyone!

Skyla and Charlie worked really hard on their Poetry and they did the most amazing

QUALITY WORK.

We have a Room 4 goal which is to:

Lucy was awarded our class Quality Work certificate this week.
