The 'Star of the Week' was Jamal!

Thanks for all your work this week Jamal. You ran lots of messages, did a great job of putting stickers in books and led the class well when we moved around the school. Ka pai!

I wonder who will be the Star of the Week this week...

It will be someone who:

- always does quality work
- shows our school values
- makes good choices.

Remember you don't have to bring afternoon tea tomorrow as we are having a special afternoon tea to celebrate 100 days at school!

This week we had lots of fun learning about FROGS!

We made these great masks and learnt about the life cycle of a frog.

The Star of the Week was...

ZADE!

Thanks Zade for being such a super 'Star'.
You were really helpful and super efficient!

 We had some interesting things in the Mystery Bag this week and lots of people in Room 4 got their brains thinking about good questions to ask. Some of us thought we had guessed the 'Mystery Bag' item but we were fooled!

Zade had these earmuffs in the mystery bag.
He had some great clues.

Eve had this very cute hat and scarf.
We took a long time asking questions about these two items!

Sadie had Lego to share.

Shayla had a Frisbee in the Mystery Bag and she kept us guessing with her stunning clues.

Carlisle had this super-cool Lego.
He also had great clues and we got close to guessing before he revealed!

We finished our Penguin art by adding some snow this week. They look amazing and everyone worked hard dressing their penguins so they didn't get cold. 

We read some interesting facts about Penguins and some people wrote about them too.
