The Star of the Week was...

Catalina!
Thank you for being such a stunning help and line leader this week.

We had a busy week this week.

Our letter of the week was A and we had fun sharing different types of apples.

We completed a Y Chart and discussed what we could hear when we ate them, what the apples looked like and how they felt in our mouths.

We had lots of fun with animals this week.

Thanks Natalya for bring in your animals and creating a zoo with lots of your friends in Room 4.

MATHS LEARNING

We have been learning how to organise and sort data in maths.

We have been graphing our data and looking at what has had the most, the least, what was similar.

We all sorted our shoes and used our 'thinking' to come up with different ways of sorting them.

We have finished this topic now. Next we're going to learn about adding and subtracting small numbers, counting forwards and backwards and skip counting.

Oderings Garden Show

This takes place this week. The junior classes have worked hard getting our display ready for the show. The Veranda classes have created the rainbow and have grown lots of the wheat for our display. Pop down and have a look.
