We have had a lot of fun in Room 4 this week!

Rugby Skills & Drills

We had a very special visit from Joe & Dotty.

Joe taught us some rugby skills.

Then we had a real surprise...

Joe revealed the Ranfurly Shield for us to see!

We all got to touch it and have a good look at it.

Thanks for donating all the rugby balls to the junior team Joe!

We had a great time with them on Friday during our Discovery session and this week, we're going to practice our kicking and passing skills every day for fitness.

On Wednesday Rach read us this Story.

On Thursday we made GINGERBREAD MEN!

Room 4 would like to thank Caitlin, Ollie's mum and Dotty, Florence's mum for coming in to help.

Rach & Caitlin made some dough.

We had to guess what was in it!

We all came to school with our rolling pins and cookie cutters.

We got in to 'Cooking' Groups.

The dough needed warming up so that we could roll it out.

Ready to roll!

Don't they look fab!

We designed our gingerbread men while they cooked.

We had to think about, 'bringing them alive' with coloured icing.

We had to give them buttons, eyes, a nose and a mouth.

We used our designs to decorate our gingerbread men.

We finished icing them and then had a look at everyone's designs.

Then... we ate them!

Thanks for all your help getting rolling pins and cookie cutters to school.

Week 4 - What's On...

Due to the shortened week and the Talent Quest, we may not get to read a new book every day this week. Everyone will have a browsing book to read.
