Hi Everyone,
I hope you have all had a great start to the holidays.

We have had two 'Stars' to celebrate for the last two weeks.

Thank you Lydia and Noah for all your help in Room 4!
Lydia had a great week and was so organised!

Noah took great care of making sure Room 4 was tidy for Clive each day.

We had a very busy end to Term 2 with Matariki, Zone Cross-Country for five of our Room 4 runners and Learning Conferences.

Thank you all for coming to your learning conference. It was great to be able to talk about all the neat things you are doing at school and share them with your family.

Room 4 is very lucky to have five fantastic learners from Room 2/3 joining the class.
We welcome:
Florence
Kiana
Charlie
Skyla
and Zach!

I can't wait to see you all at the beginning of Term 3 when you become Room 4 students for the rest of the year - soooo exciting!

The letter of the week was F...
Debbie and Leanne came to see us and our frog masks. They thought they were brilliant and we had a photo in the latest school newsletter!

The letter of the week was K...
We made and flew kites, it was perfect kite flying weather!

We celebrated Matariki...

Our buddy classes made soup for Matariki and we went to the senior rooms to share soup and celebrate with our big buddies.

We had 3 different sorts of soup to choose from...
Which one shall I have?

Waiting in the line for our soup.
Helen, Caroline and Wendy serving the delicious soup!

Afterwards we had some fun time with our big buddies.

We all sat with our big buddies and they looked after us.

We celebrated 100 days of school!!!
Can you believe we've had more than 100 school days already this year?
Room 4 ate the whole cake!!!
We all sat down and used our best manners!

100 Days of School!
The Room 4 Mystery Bag has been full of surprises!

Madix had us all guessing with this!

We asked lots of questions and finally, a few people made the connection!
It was a fridge magnet.

Term 3

Week 1
The Letter of the Week is...

Have a wonderful holiday everyone.
I'm looking forward to hearing all about your adventures when we get back to school.

Is everybody happy?
You bet your life we are!
Make sure you do something to help your family and make them happy too.

See you all soon.
I know I'm going to miss not seeing you all for two whole weeks.
