We had a very busy week last week.

Look at some of the neat things we did...

We started our Mystery Bag for Oral Language!

Shantaliya had some great clues and we all asked superb questions to find out what her Mystery item was!

Jamal was next - he had us wondering and asking fantastic questions too.

Evelyn's was very small and kept us thinking!

Ollie finished the week with these which also had us asking some super questions!

James shared a spanner for News.
He knew so much about it and had lots of questions to answer.

Shayla also had news to share!

Shayla had made a mask that she shared with everyone.

We had a visit from Carlisle's pet rabbit.

The rabbit's name is Finn!

He went home for a rest!

Room 4 have been learning about Yacht design and we've been thinking and working out about the best way to make our plasticine yachts float. 

They are ready to go again tomorrow for Test 3!

'What's On' This Week - Week 6

The letter of the Week is...

I am really looking forward to this!
Each day will be exciting with pink and purple things!

This week is a short week and we have lots of learning to do as well as some testing in preparation for our Learning Conferences later in the term.
We won't be doing Reading every day this week.

• There will be a Browsing Book to read each night.

It would be great if everyone could practice their:

• Skip counting in 2's, 5's and 10's (forwards & backwards)!
• Spelling words.

MESSAGES & INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
We are doing some art and craft this week. 
You may get asked for wool scraps, material and other bits and pieces!

Magazines - if you have any old magazines at home we'd love them for cutting up in Room 4.

Thanks for getting your child to school on time and for the lovely healthy food you send! 

The children eat lots at morning tea time - this is a big snack! Our afternoon snack is a piece of fruit or something small to keep everyone going until after school.
