It is great seeing so many healthy snacks and lunches in Room 4!

 A big snack around 10:00am

A quick snack at 11:30am

Lunch at 1:30pm

Special Room 4 Discovery session!

We are having a visit from Aunty Sam - all the way from Australia.

Sam is Rach's sister-in-law who follows our Room 4 Blog and is looking forward to meeting everyone for real! She is really excited about visiting Room 4 on Friday!

PLEASE NOTE...

Reports and learning conferences are coming up!

Learning Conferences will be in Week 7.

We will be completing lots of testing and doing work for our Portfolios over the next 2 weeks.

Reading Books

If you don't have a reading book every night over the next two weeks, it's ok!

You will have browsing books to read.

We have to use some of our learning time for Portfolios and testing.

Have a look at our Jellyfish art pieces.

These were inspired by the letter of the week!

We used acrylic, pastel and chalk to complete these pieces.

Welcome to Term 4!

This week the letter of the week is:

This term Room 4 will be presenting items a little bit differently.

We are going to call it… ‘Show & Tell’.

·      Each week we will have a theme/topic.

·      Each day different people will bring their item, show it and tell us about it.

·      If someone misses their day, they will miss their turn.

Hopefully this will encourage some good organisational skills at home!

·      Paper bags will be provided.

·      I will be encouraging the children to find meaningful items that relate to the topic/theme.

        No toys please!

Remember to bring your hat!

Make sure it is clearly named so that you can find it easily on the wires outside our room.

It is a good idea not to wear your thermal to school this term unless it is really cold. You could pop it in your bag just in case. We all get so hot in our classroom and you run around lots too.

Room 4 had a lovely end to Term 3.

We had chips for lunch.

 Everyone was so polite and had fabulous manners.

Thanks you all for such a fun term and for all your help preparing our room for the holidays!
