Room 4 - Week 8 Info

The Letter of the Week for this week is:

I wonder who can find some really interesting 'R' things to share this week?

This is Week 8 and is the last week of PMP.

Next week is Week 9 - Learning Conference week. 

• School closes early on Tuesday and Wednesday.
• I am really looking forward to sharing all your learning with your families. 
• You get to take you Portfolio home on Friday! 
• Remember to bring it to your learning conference.

The week after is the last week of term 2 and we get to have 2 weeks holiday!

We are so lucky to have some new friends in Room 4.

Coco, Lucy, Olive, Addison, Romeo, Casey, Austen and Felix all start officially on Monday the 26th June. This week they will be with us for most of our learning time.

If you want to bring your own pencil case to school and a colouring in book to use before school in the morning - you can!

• We have a special place to keep them in Room 4 - just make sure you name your pencil case.
• Thanks to all the wonderfully organised people who have started doing this already!

There is also the colouring in zone on Wednesday in Room 3 taht you can take your things to if you want to.

FIDGET SPINNERS

We ask that these are kept at home unless you are bringing them for the Play Zone. Remember, this is a Play Zone for seniors that you can go to if you are confident and ok about going to Room 16.

You need to hand your fidget spinner in to Rach and collect it to take to the Play Zone then hand it back in again.

We had a neat time at Discovery on Friday.

Pop, Pop, Pop!!!

In went the kernels.

The kernels heated up and we heard the POP as the water inside the kernel exploded.

What a neat popcorn maker.

Yummy!

Delicious!

Remember to remove all your nail polish before you come to school tomorrow.

What a busy week we have had!

Thank you for being such super stars and presenting a stunning junior assembly! Everyone spoke with lovely clear voices.

You all did a fabulous job of telling our story of the 'The Little Red Hen' to the junior school. 

Congratulations if you were awarded certificates for the Cross Country too. Ka pai Room 4!

This week the Letter of the Week is...

This is Pablo Picasso a very famous artist who we are going to base some 'Little Red Hen' art on this week.

This is our last week of PMP. Remember to wear shoes that are easy to do our PMP activities in on Monday and Tuesday.

It is exciting to have some friends coming to Room 4 and they will start in our class for all learning in Week 9. I know you will all help them and show them what happens in Room 4.

There are lots of bugs around. The best way to protect your self is to wash your hands really well.

Remember to cough into your elbow too.
