GUESS WHAT...

In two weeks time Room 4 will be leading our Junior Assembly!

Some Room 4 children will hold the microphone and get to speak and we will share some of our Picasso Self Portraits.

Today we read our Big Book for this week. 

It's called, Jolly Jumping Jelly Beans!

Make sure you tell your family all about this very funny book.

We have a jar of jelly beans in Room 4 and we're all going to estimate how many we think are in the jar!

This week we will carry on with our Picasso Self-Portraits and our gymnastics with Christine.

Messages

There have been a few children away from our school with sore tummies. We have been talking about good hand washing and why it's important.

Room 4 children always wash their hands before they eat.

• Please send a water bottle every day. We drink lots in Room 4, especially on really hot days. I fill the water bottles at least once a day for the children. If water bottles come home looking full, they will have recently been topped up. 

• Thanks for not sending your child to school in their thermals on swimming days. This makes independent changing much easier!

• In Room 4 we are learning to pack our own bags by ourselves in the afternoon. It would be good for everyone to be packing their own bag in the morning too!

• Everyone is able to change by themselves when we go swimming and last week the boys were first changed and ready after swimming!

We have Fairyland again next Thursday but will relocate to Room 1 for FAIRY FUN!
